Our Process
Getting Started
OUR PROCESS
So you've decided that you need help and guidance with your investment plan… but now what? The steps outlined below represent a clock-the face, the hands, and the movement. Each of these important steps will help us develop a personalized investment program that will be designed to meet your current and projected needs.
THE FACE: GETTING TO KNOW YOU
Our process starts with us getting to know you. We will ask a lot of questions-this meeting is all about you and your family. Tell us your story, for example: What are your goals? What is your lifestyle? When do you want to retire?
It's important that you ask us questions too. Together, we'll discuss the investment process and concepts that form the foundation of our core investing beliefs.
THE HANDS: BUILD AND IMPLEMENT YOUR PLAN
Using our planning tools (MoneyGuidePro and Albridge Wealth Reporting), we will begin to design a unique, flexible investment plan to help you achieve your goals. All fees and costs associated with our plan will be disclosed and will remain transparent throughout the process. Along the way some topics we may discuss include:
- Education planning strategies
- Emergency funds and budgets
- Estate planning strategies
- Financial markets
- General principles of financial planning
- Income tax planning strategies
- Insurance planning
- Investment planning
- Retirement planning
- Risk tolerance
After you review the plan and are comfortable with the recommendations, we'll begin implementing your plan. In addition, we'll walk you through how to sign-up for online access, how to read account statements, the frequency with which we will meet, and overall client service expectations will be discussed.
THE MOVEMENT: MONITOR YOUR PLAN
Last, we will monitor your progress. This is done by revisiting and reallocating your portfolio regularly to make sure your investments are still aligned with your current needs and future goals. And we get it… life changes, and thus we will meet regularly to check in with each other to make sure your plan is still working for you.
